true-friend-birthday-line.jpg

I am having the most lovely weekend, I stamped all day today making cards for ME to give away, not cards that I need to make for classes, design work or magazine work and it was lovely to not work with restrictions, I love “ME“ stamping sessions. I have had issues with my creative mojo most of this year it has felt but I am starting to feel I am slowly finding my mojo again. I have a few birthdays coming up that require “special cards” so that’s what I was working on today and this card is one of the cards I made today. I have used Beate’s weekend sketch {WSC102} I love her sketches. I have used Summer Love Rub-Ons, Great Friend Stamps and Walk in the Park papers from the current Spring Mini from Stampin’ Up!.

Here is the Beate’s weekend sketch {WSC102}

And inside the card with a Butterfly image I have applied a “Inspire” Rub-On over, This is very suitable because this friend that is receiving this card is so inspiring. I just need to write my message inside, I can’t believe I did not start decorating the insides of my years ago because they look so nice and feel ‘finished’.

Friends Forever

friends-forever-rub-on-card-line.jpg

I have finally started playing with some of my new products from the Spring Mini to make a card for my Bestie Elise, I just LOVE this girl; We have been through SO much together and Elise is moving to Queensland very soon with her Family and I am going to miss her SO very much, but I just know that the friendship we have will last the distance… Hance the “Friends Forever” greeting from the Summer Love Rub-Ons which coordinates with the “Great Friend” stamp set and the same with the “Walk in the Park” Designer Series Papers that I have also used.

How cute is my button? I have used the Clear Buttons on page 151 of the Catalogue and I have cut a circle of the “Walk in the Park” Designer Series Paper and attached the circle to the back of clear button. I think the clear buttons are a great thing to have in your stash because you can use them in any project by added coordinating Papers.

inspired-brayer-baja-2-line.jpg

To start with I just want to Thank everyone for the sweet and very supportive response I received over the past two days, I am very touched and grateful to have so many lovely readers and friends. Thank you really…..

One of my Favourite Techniques is brayering, I just love the simple effect it creates and it just works so well with all the Silhouette stamps we have in the Catalogue. This card is really very simple, all I have done is stamped the image in Night of Navy on Whisper white Cardstock and Baja Breeze grass. Then started to brayer Baja Breeze from the top and working my way down the cardstock. Then I added a little Night of Navy along the top.

I have used Urban Garden Designer Series Paper for the Background, I just love using Printed Papers on my cards, and I really love that with Stampin’ Up! my Printed Papers match the inks and in some case’s they even match my stamps. Don’t forget that the Promotion for May is buy Three Designer Series Papers and get one FREE. Read more details HERE.
