Happy Easter Saturday! YAY it’s the last day of Daylight Savings for us in Sydney and a few other States of Australia, I am not a fan of Daylight Saving because I don’t know how to change the {wait…….. should I be admitting this…..} time on the clock in my car so during Daylight Savings I need to think each time I look at the clock and add an hour…. {I Sooooooo should not of shared that….lol} I will admit I kind of like when we start Daylight Savings I feel like I achieve more each day and its always nice walking out of work in Daylight but as the cold weather rolls in I do like to go back to normal and not needing to think when I read the time in my car…..

With Easter tomorrow I made my little niece Bailey an Easter Basket for her to leave out for the Easter Bunny, Mum/Grandma made one for my other niece Ebony she is not showing her basket her on my blog because she wants to put it on her blog….Yes my cute little Mum has a Blog…. is she very talented in Papercraft…. she gets it from me {lol} but as she would say “I do simple” not like me apparently. As soon as I get her permission to share her blog address I will. She is getting ready to join Stampin’ Up! in the coming months and wants to get her blog up so she can hit the ground running….. It has only taken 3 years to get to this point…. And I am not 100% she will join under me…. She has had some very tempting offers from some of my Demo Friends….. You know who you are……..Sharon {lol}

Gee I can talk today…. I think its being over tried from my “hard” day at work. Onto my project….

This was a hit with Little Miss Bailey she loved what I made her, I think it was the butterflies taking flight that got her. I have used lots of Stampin’ Up! Punches on this {I think I was channelling Claire from SU! Demo Support… the punch queen} The Easter Eggs are made using the Wide Oval Punch, the Butterfly Punch and a little twisted wire made the butterflies which are “totally cool” as Bailey said and I also used the Boho Flower Punch to make some flower embellishments on the side that you can’t really see in the photo. I love the speed and ease of punches plus many of the Stampin‘ Up! Punches can be used in lots of different ways so the are a wise investment {well that’s what I tell myself}. LOTS of glitter was used both Dazzling Diamonds and Chucky Glitter…..

Please don’t fall off your seat in shock that I have updated my blog twice in less then 24 hours {shocking I know} but I have actually made a second card using Makeesha’s sketch. This time around it’s a more masculine Birthday card and I totally love this one. I have used SO many stamp sets in this card and my craft desk looks like a bomb has hit it, so I better go clean that up because it is driving me crazy looking at it.

Here is the sketch again just to remind you:

And here is my card….

When you open the card Shooting Stars come at you and I was able to get a better photo of the inside this time around.
