Pink Overload

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

I am back with not a great card but a card… *So cute* yesterday I got 2 emails asking if I have gone “shy” again not blogging…NO, I have been SO sick (still am) with a bad case of the flu and my voice sounds like a cross between a Man and a Horse, SO I am not allowed to talk for the next 2 days because I am at the Papercraft Festival in Sydney this weekend and I NEED to be able to talk all weekend so the doctor told me to let my voice box rest…This NO talking thing is hard, I never realised how much I like talking.

I will stop talking and get on to my card….

I have finally given this brayered background technique a try…and I really enjoyed it, I had been scared to give it a try because it looked hard but it is easy and FUN. I have used every Pink ink pad I own on this card. It’s just simple in design but simple works…. You know WHAT, I do like this card and it looks like silk in real life…..

If you want to learn how to create a Brayered Background? And make this card plus a surprise card… Attend my Technique class, here are the details….
When: Friday 7th of November at 7:30pm
Where: My Home in Old Mt Druitt
Cost: $15 for 2 cards
Book: Email me at mail@tenealewilliams.com.au or phone 0416 000 955
Spots are limited on the Friday night but I can bring this class to you at a different time in your home with 5 friends BUT you need to live in Sydney (sorry about that small request)

NOTE: If you attend this class and bring a SU! Brayer I will give you a “Brayer Bonus”

Marelle & Teneale’s Stamp-A-Thon

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Just a quick note to say…….a HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came to Marelle and Teneale’s Stamp-A-thon on Saturday. I had the BEST time ever, I think it was a hit and I am so grateful for all the positive feedback we have received….. I really want to thank my partner in crime “Master Stamper” Marelle Taylor, I love, love, LOVE working with you, you inspire me beyond belief, you are just amazing and I forgive you for making me make tags {giggle}

Although my project was not as popular as Marelle’s (it’s ok I am used to being in her shadow) {giggle}, I thought I would share my project I designed for the day here on my blog… In the sprit of ‘getting ready for Christmas’ I was inspired by the Christmas products in the current Australian Spring Mini so I used the ‘On Board Trimmings’, ‘Accents & Elements-Hand Selected’, Holiday Harmony printed papers and the YUMMY Pomegranate ribbon to make Christmas decorations which I have attached to a Christmas wreath complete with Christmas lights.

Mr & Mrs

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

When I think of wedding cards I think…. Clean and elegant, I always seem to go for Black and White for the colours unless I know the colours of the bridal party. So when I was asked to design Wedding Cards… I know what to do. This card took me about 20 minutes to design and make…..which is SUPER fast for me, The slowest part was cutting out the flower and the circle… But gee it looks great if I don’t say so myself.

Keep it Simple

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

I can get carried away sometimes with lots of layers and I forget how great a simple no layers card can look and how much fun it is to make quick cards. So I pulled out one of my Favourite sets from the Spring Mini Catalogue “Bloomin’ with Beauty”, A little reverse masking and Water Colouring and my card is done. Well I could make a few more of these…. They are that quick.
